Why Choose Nhess Weber Music

At Nhess Weber Music, we believe singing is more than just hitting the right notes — it’s about building technique, expressive artistry, and confident stage presence. Whether you’re just starting or ready to take your skills to the next level, here’s why families and community members trust us:

Building Confidence

We create a supportive space where every student builds confidence in their craft, artistry, and performance, with the tools to explore, express, and shine.

Proven Vocal Technique

Inspired by Estill Voice Training, Nhessica’s classes focus on a healthy, research-backed model. Students improve on vocal control - skills that enhance both singing and speaking.

Performance Readiness

From classes to stage, students learn how to perform with confidence, presence— whether it’s for a concert, presentation, or local community event.

Kids & Teens

Our program welcomes beginners and budding performers to a supportive community where they build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong skills — all while learning musical theatre.

Diverse Musical Repertoire

From musical theatre and pop/rock to gospel and contemporary styles, our program develops versatility and helps students discover the richness of music.

Community-Focused

It’s more than just singing — it’s a supportive community where everyone is welcome. Through performances, concerts, and group events, we make music a shared and celebrated experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

An Open Class is an opportunity for parents and others to see how our classes run, offering a glimpse into the creative process and the progress students have made. In the final 15 minutes of the class, family and friends are invited to observe and enjoy a relaxed sharing of activities and performances. Rather than being a polished show, the Open Class allows everyone to experience the learning environment, celebrate achievements, and gain a deeper understanding of each student’s journey throughout the program. After the class, parents are welcome to speak with the teacher, ask questions, and explore how to take the next step in their child’s learning.

Parents and family are welcome to take photos or digital recordings during the class. To respect the privacy of all students, any publishing or sharing of these images, including on social media, is not permitted unless written consent has been provided by the parent or guardian of every student featured.

At Nhess Weber Music, we celebrate students’ progress and achievements across all our programs.

  • Programs for Children and Young People (including short-term workshops, and term-based programs): Students receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the program.

  • Studio students: Students receive a Certificate of Achievement when they meet the minimum attendance requirements and demonstrate progress in their lessons.

Students participating in both types of programs will receive a Certificate of Attendance for any group programs and a Certificate of Achievement for their 1:1 studio lessons, ensuring that all aspects of their learning journey are recognized and celebrated.

All group programs are held at our Richmond Theatrette, with options for term-based classes, holiday workshops, and weekly choir sessions.

1:1 Voice Lessons are held in a studio, providing a focused environment for personalised learning.

Not at all! Whether your child is a beginner or already performing, our term programs, holiday classes, and private lessons are designed to support all skill levels.

Each session is customised to your pace, musical interests, and vocal goals, helping you build craft (technique), artistry, and confidence in your performance skills.

Our choir focuses on learning, harmonising, and performing a variety of musical genres. It’s a community-focused program where students gain confidence, make friends, and enjoy singing together.

Yes—depending on the program, students may have the chance to perform in showcases, community events, or concerts. Nhess Weber Music brings experience from both local and international performances, giving students valuable opportunities to gain real-world performance experience.

Students just need to wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring a positive attitude! For musical theatre or choir, all necessary resources, music, and materials are provided, so students can focus on learning, performing, and having fun.

You can contact us one week before the commencement of the program to find out who is teaching. Please keep in mind that at times it is necessary for us to make staffing changes at short notice.
